Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of BillSlip, including the website, dashboard, invoice builder, and related services.
1. Agreement
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and BillSlip. By creating an account, buying a subscription, or using BillSlip, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
BillSlip provides software for creating invoices, managing clients, storing invoice records, and generating invoice PDFs. BillSlip is not accounting, tax, legal, financial, or payment collection advice.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account and billing information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must promptly notify us of unauthorized access or security concerns.
4. Subscription and billing
BillSlip is offered as a paid yearly subscription at $29/year or the local equivalent shown at checkout, unless another price is displayed at checkout. Prices, taxes, and billing terms are shown before you pay.
If automatic renewal is enabled, your subscription renews annually unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the subscription, renewal, applicable taxes, and permitted fees.
5. Non-refundable subscription
All subscription payments are non-refundable and non-creditable, except where required by applicable law. Canceling stops future renewals but does not create a refund or prorated credit for the current paid term. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription renewal through the account or billing flow we provide, or by contacting support@billslip.com. After cancellation, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the current paid term unless your account is suspended or terminated for a Terms violation.
7. Your content and data
You retain ownership of invoice, client, and business data you add to BillSlip. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display, back up, secure, and provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process client information.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not use BillSlip for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
- Do not upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not interfere with service availability or security.
- Do not misuse personal data that belongs to another person.
- Do not resell or sublicense BillSlip without permission.
9. Taxes and invoice accuracy
You are responsible for invoice accuracy, tax rates, tax collection, reporting, payment terms, client details, and compliance with laws that apply to your business. BillSlip may help calculate or display values, but you remain responsible for reviewing them before sending invoices.
10. Service changes
We may modify, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of BillSlip. We will try to provide reasonable notice for material changes that negatively affect paid users, but we may act immediately for security, legal, or operational reasons.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, create risk for the service or other users, or use BillSlip in a way that may create legal exposure. You may stop using the service at any time.
12. Disclaimers
BillSlip is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillSlip and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to BillSlip in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BillSlip and its operator from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your invoices, your business activity, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the courts and laws applicable to the operator's place of business, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
16. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact legal@billslip.com.
